STANDARD ROOM SENSOR
The standard room sensor is corner mounted and is utilized in healthcare facility bathrooms or bedrooms. The standard sensor may be a preferred option if there are objects on the ceiling that would block the view of the 360 degree sensor such as lights, exhaust fans and smoke detectors .

DOOR CURTAIN SENSOR
Specially designed for detecting room exit situations, the Door Curtain Sensor utilizes narrow beam technology. This sensor detects people passing through a doorway - it does not detect people passing in the hallway, or moving inside the room.

There are three different types of PIR’s (Passive Infrared Sensors) that can be used in conjunction with the AC Dementia Control System.
Each sensor provides information to the DCU (Dementia Control Unit) when movement is detected within the viewable area.
All detectors incorporate a switchable “walk test” LED to aid installation and testing.
